Steel Strings Gallery was first launched in the winter of 2007 as a portfolio website for myself, it also acted as a freelance website to attract new clients for freelance works. It was designed totally in Flash and incorporated a lot of my student works and ideas. It was extremely black and dull although it did demonstrate extensive knowledge of Flash and action script. But like most of my designs I later came up with another idea for a full html and CSS based website with a much brighter and creative design that showed how my skills and knowledge had changed and evolved. The "mark two" design served its purpose well and through I obtained several clients and contacts and led me to new jobs and a brighter future. But once again my ideas have changed and Steel Strings and gone through a new metamorphosis to this newer more stylish version. Just like life itself the internet constantly changes and so do design disciplines. Life evolves and so has Steel Strings Gallery and I am sure that over the years it will continue to evolve and change as do my abilities, styles and tastes.
