My names James Wright and I was born on December 10th 1985 in a small town in the south of England called Salisbury. I graduated from the University of Lincoln where I achieved a Bachelors of Science degree in Media Technology with honours.  I am a keen enthusiastic individual who always strives for perfection from work. I have loved deisgn and always been creative since I was young getting a carrer in being creative just seemed a logical move.

My six years of studying and practising all aspects of the media, multimedia and graphics have given me experience in marketing, Photography, animation, multimedia, website design, video production, graphic design and sound design.  I am committed to my work and always strive to deliver a high standard of work.  Graphic design taught me to take great care of design and to explore all the possible designs.

I meet multiple deadlines while producing a very high standard of work.  I have spent my time since university working as a freelancer but in april 2008 I went to work for the design agency Siamese Elephant, where i started as as a freelancer but was quickly promoted up through the ranks to senior designer. After leaving there I went on to work for the hull based design agncy 2 Heads Designs where i currently work as a full time freelance web and graphic designer.

Several years ago I was part of a team producing interactive applications for local nightclubs and producing and interactive DVD showcasing local band talent for an organisation The Sesh all of which involved me designing all the layouts and cover designs.  

I love design and graphic design and regularly use Photoshop and other programs to constantly keep my skills sharp; I also regularly contribute my design on deviant art.com.

Team work
Before moving to university I played on many sporting teams including playing basket ball and roller hocky for the city teams. This wasnt just good for building phsyicall and mental strength it was an excellent team building and helped me to work well with others or alone. I have also spent most of my life studying martial arts and this too requires great amount of team work and the ability to listen, react and most importantly trust the members of the team that you are on.

I have an excellent eye for design and conatntly find myself looking at designs and pulling them apart menatlly and trying to see how they would have made it. This not only helps me to constantly keep developing new skills but improve old ones.

When I'm not working on designs for web, multimedia, interactive media and fixed designs I play bass guitar for a local Hull band Finding Reasons.
